GMC’s dedication to technology transfer is radically different than the majority of medical equipment and system suppliers in the Middle East, and has led to numerous awards and recognitions, including the award for International Technical Service Centre of the Year, presented at the American Society of Anaesthesiologists Conference in the USA.
Gulf Medical Company has a continuous programme to update and expand its knowledge to ensure it remains at the very forefront of developments and has a track record of promoting leading-edge medical standards in the region, such as providing equipment and support for the first valvuloplasty and angioplasty procedures, also establishing three electrophysiology centres of excellence in Saudi Arabia, plus the introduction of the first integrated digital operating room, OR-1, in the Gulf. GMC commissioned the first Robotic Surgery suite in the Middle East as well as the first Radiosurgery System in the area.
Although Saudi Arabia represents its main market, Gulf Medical Company has broadened its region-wide portfolio and has offices and operations in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates plus further developments Oman and Kuwait. As a result, GMC has the technical expertise and geographical reach to market medical supplies and install equipment to private and public hospitals, medical centres throughout the Middle East and Gulf region.
